Antony Webb

Managing Director

Career Background

 

Antony started in the industry in the mid eighties as an apprentice air conditioning installation engineer working throughout the country assisting with the installation of split systems and multi split systems. He was involved in the installation of some of the first VRF systems in the country. After training up to be a multi skilled HVAC engineer he then went on to manage larger sites including numerous clean room facilities. This lead on to Antony’s break from the industry in 2002 where he went to work for a company called Lamarflo Ltd a clean room construction company. There he project managed large clean projects for BAE, Philips, Kodak to name a few. In 2004 he decided to start his own company with his close friend David Benton. Antony helped grow Airtemp to a £4,000,000 turnover business over a 9 year period. This has been achieved due to his dedication, drive and commitment to customer service and satisfaction.

 

Responsibilities

 

As Managing Director, Antony is responsible for overall day to day running of the company insuring that current targets are met in line with the company vision. Antony also looks after a number of key accounts and supports the team in design when required.

David Benton

Director

Career background

 

David has worked in the construction industry for more the 20 years starting out as an Electrical Engineer. In 2004 David and his Business partner Antony Webb set up Airtemp air conditioning combining Antony’s wealth of knowledge in the air conditioning industry & David’s electrical expertise. Over the past nine years David‘s experience in the mechanical services industry has grown rapidly enabling him to provide a practical approach to projects from the conception to completion.

 

Responsibilities

 

David along with Antony is responsible for the daily running of Airtemp and ensuring the business continues to expand whilst remaining true to its core value of providing exceptional service. David manages several key accounts for Airtemp which he has developed over a nine year period and is personally responsible for the increased growth with clients such as Network Rail for both project and service work.

Ross Perrin

Application Engineer

Career Background

 

Ross has been at Airtemp since 2005 when the company was in it’s infancy. Having served a formal apprentership with Haden Young, Ross gained experience with various local mechanical / air-conditioning companies.

 

Responsibilities

 

Ross is first point of contact for his customers for the pricing and running of contracts. These can range from the smallest of projects to a full turn key fit out. These can involve full design or pricing from drawings & bill of quantities.

Chris Luck

Service and Maintenance Manager

Career Background

 

After gaining his HNC in mechanical and production engineering, began his career working for a multinational company, initially in export distribution management and latterly in product management within the hygienic fluid flow technology sector. More recently, Chris spent 5 years working for a clean room design and manufacturing company and for the past 5 years managing the Service Department for Airtemp.

 

Responsibilities

 

As Service Manager, Chris is responsible for both the expansion of and day to day running of the busy service and maintenance department, covering all planned preventative maintenance and reactive works.

Maddy

Service Administrator

Career background

 

Having worked within the Construction Industry for the last ten years in administrative / reactive works management and support roles to company’s including Skanska and the National Grid both on site and in office, Maddy has a good knowledge of the importance of ensuring delivery of excellent Customer Service and ensuring all Customer requirements are met promptly and efficiently.

 

Responsibilities

 

Working alongside Chris Luck in the Service and Maintenance Department Maddy is responsible for the Scheduling of Planned Preventative Maintenance visits, Reactive call outs and Quotation generation, updating the Service Management software and general administrative duties.

Julia Brown

Estimating & Design Manager

Career background

 

Julia has over 25 years’ experience in the air conditioning industry. Having run an air conditioning contracting company for 17 years her experience encompasses everything from general company admin & accounts to AC design, application, project management through to completion and after sales, as well as running and operating maintenance contracts and teams. For the last 4 years Julia has been working in sales, selling quality equipment such as Mitsubishi Electric and Daikin, achieving top sales status, before returning to contracting.

 

Responsibilities

 

As Estimating & Design Manager, Julia will be responsible for the overall review, estimating and design process for all projects bid. She will be working closely with our Business Development Manager, Ryan Sargent in the smooth delivery of regular bid packages.

David Blaber

Estimator

Career background

 

David has been in the ductwork industry for over 40 years having served an apprenticeship in surveying and estimating, moving up to Director level for 8 years before moving on to become commercial Manager for his last two companies over a 36 year period.

 

Responsibilities

 

David provides valuable experience in the Ductwork division of the business and is responsible for overseeing all ductwork & ventilation estimates. Whilst working closely with the different project departments within the business, he has helped increase the company’s presence in the ductwork & ventilation sector and introduced new clients.

Ann Human

Accountant

Career Background

 

Ann has had a long and varied career in accounting from Accounts Manager for a chain of hotels during the eighties, to 21 years as Finance Manager at Drusillas Zoo Park Ltd, a well known tourist attraction based in East Sussex, before joining Airtemp in April 2009.  In her spare time Ann is heavily involved in amateur cycling and undertakes various voluntary roles including Auditor for the London South district of the CTT which is the governing body for time trials in England and Wales.  She is also Racing Secretary for East Sussex Cycling Association, Competition Secretary for the Sussex Cyclists Association and Secretary of Eastbourne Rovers Cycling Club.

 

Responsibilities

 

Not only does Ann have the day to day responsibility for the smooth running of the department within the statutory and regulatory requirements, she also maintains internal procedures and controls to monitor and evaluate our performance, together with timely and accurate production of essential management information.

Simon Lawrence

Credit Controller/ Office Manager
